Imagine that you're on a fixed income with just enough money to cover your basic necessities each month. Due to your age and ability, you are no longer able to drive yourself where you need to go. What if you became ill or injured? Without the ability to drive yourself what would you do? HELP! This is the crisis faced by many of our seniors every day. HELP!

RSVP Provide-A-Ride is here to HELP!

RSVP Provide-A-Ride is a unique service that assists low to moderate-income elders who have no means of transportation to their medical appointments. Provide-A-Ride is a gratifying and reliable transportation program servicing the greater OKC area. It not only gives the client
much needed health care; it also provides the volunteer drivers an opportunity to give back to their community, while forming friendships along the way. There are many senior citizens that are not being served because of the lack of volunteer drivers. If you are able to volunteer three hours (or more) a month please contact Evelyn Pollard, RSVP Director of Volunteers at 737-5255 or rsvp@flash.net.

Supplemental accident and liability insurance is provided and mileage reimbursement is available. RSVP Provide-A-Ride is funded by Areawide Aging Agency, United Way of Metro OKC, Lucent Technologies Family Development Fund and corporate and individual sponsors.
